SPRING SUMMER 2027 PRESENTATION

During Milan Fashion Week, Fabiana Filippi presented the Spring Summer 2027 collection at Palazzo Barozzi, amid twentieth-century architecture and Giulio Borsani’s frescoes, in dialogue with an installation reproducing the pattern of the handcrafted weave on a monumental scale.

The gesture of weaving expands into the space, bringing to the fore what usually remains behind the surface of the garment: the complexity of making, the precision of the hand, and the time required to transform the material.

GESTO – ARCHITECTURE OF THE HAND

Craftsmanship, excellence, and territory define Fabiana Filippi’s Spring Summer 2027 collection. “Gesto – Architecture of the Hand” offers a contemporary reinterpretation of Umbrian heritage and artisanal tradition. In Montecchio, a village on the outskirts of Orvieto, wicker weaving remains a craft passed down hand to hand, gesture after gesture. A quiet mastery that is reflected in the collection’s research, where material becomes an expression of the handmade gesture.
