During Milan Fashion Week, Fabiana Filippi unveiled the SS26 collection at Marìencò, transformed into a performative space of light and reflection. The collection explores the theme of reflection as a metaphor for introspection, through a luminous and intimate narrative. Inspirations range from the mirror self-portraits of Vivian Maier, to the suspended visions of Arne Svenson, and the diaphanous tones of Luigi Ghirri — weaving together art, light and fashion in a dialogue that expresses the brand’s most authentic essence.
The SS26 collection explores a material language that plays with refraction, transparency, and delicate shimmer, transforming light into a creative medium. Fabrics such as water-reflection organza, chiné jacquard, and the exclusive sequin scuba give life to sophisticated, vibrant surfaces.
Each garment, meticulously finished, follows the woman with natural elegance, while calibrated layering and refined trompe-l'œil effects create optical illusions and new visual depth. The palette moves from neutral tones to sky blue and sorbet yellow accents, completing a versatile and contemporary wardrobe.
